Licensure - Endorsement Information
To endorse, you will need to submit:
A temporary license id available upon completion of the online RN/LPN Endorsement Application and the receipt of clear criminal background check results.
If you are currently a resident in a Compact state (eNLC map) you are not eligible to apply. If making a permanent move to NM you must provide proof of residency with a copy of a current NM drivers license.
- If the licensure process is not completed in six months, after date of application received by the board, the application becomes null and void.

- LPN applicants initially licensed after July 1, 1969 must meet the educational requirements.
- Military personnel, licensed as LPNs by successful writing of the national licensing examination prior to July 1, 1977, may be licensed in New Mexico by endorsement providing their DD-214 shows the related civilian occupation to be “LPN."
